Learn about SolarNode's orbital computing infrastructure and how to get involved.
SolarNode is building the next generation of computing infrastructure - one that operates in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and is powered entirely by solar energy. We're creating a distributed network of compute nodes that offers true autonomy, resilience, and sustainability.
By deploying compute infrastructure in space, we eliminate terrestrial limitations like geography, natural disasters, and political boundaries. Our satellites operate at ~400km altitude with continuous solar power.
No single points of failure. Each node is autonomous and communicates with others via mesh networking. Workloads are distributed intelligently across the constellation.
Hardware-root-of-trust with end-to-end encryption. Every component is verified, and all communications are authenticated and encrypted.
SolarNode's orbital infrastructure is ideal for:
Target Altitude
408.5 km
Orbital Velocity
7.66 km/s
Solar Power
2.8 kW
Compute Cores
16-core ARM
